Return Policy

At Quantum Sound Therapy (“we,” “us,” or “our”), we want you to be satisfied with every purchase. This Return Policy explains the terms under which we accept returns, exchanges, and refunds. By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms below. Please read this policy carefully before completing your purchase.

Important: This policy applies only to purchases made directly through Quantum Sound Therapy. Items purchased through third-party retailers must be returned according to that retailer’s policy.

1. Eligibility for Returns

We accept returns under the following conditions:

  • Items must be returned within thirty (30) days of the delivery date.
  • The product must be in like-new, resalable condition, including all original packaging, accessories, manuals, cables, and promotional inserts.
  • Items may be unboxed and inspected, but products that show signs of use beyond reasonable inspection (wear, soiling, missing components, or modification) may be refused or charged additional fees.
  • Proof of purchase — such as an order confirmation, receipt, or order number — is required.
  • A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number must be obtained before returning any item. Returns received without an RMA may be refused or delayed.

2. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Customized, personalized, or made-to-order items.
  • Final sale, clearance, or promotional items clearly marked as non-returnable at the time of purchase.
  • Items damaged due to misuse, neglect, accident, improper care, unauthorized repair, or unauthorized modification.
  • Items returned more than thirty (30) days after delivery.
  • Gift cards, service fees, and shipping charges.

3. Restocking Fee

A ten percent (10%) restocking fee applies to all eligible returns. This fee is calculated based on the original item price, excluding shipping, handling, and taxes.

The restocking fee applies in the following situations:

  • Standard returns of non-defective items.
  • Shipments that are refused at the time of delivery, returned to us as undeliverable, or returned because the customer failed to claim a held shipment, regardless of the reason.
  • Items returned in a condition that requires repackaging, cleaning, or restocking labor.

The restocking fee does NOT apply when: the item is confirmed defective, the item was damaged in transit, or we shipped an incorrect item.

Customer responsibility: In addition to the restocking fee, customers are responsible for original outbound shipping charges and any return-shipping costs incurred on refused or undeliverable shipments.

4. Return Process

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

  • Step 1 — Request an RMA: Contact us at info@quantumsoundtherapy.com or call 501.588.7109 within thirty (30) days of delivery. Provide your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return.
  • Step 2 — Receive RMA Authorization: We will review your request and, if eligible, issue an RMA number and return shipping instructions. RMA numbers are valid for fourteen (14) days from issuance.
  • Step 3 — Pack the Item: Securely pack the item in its original packaging, including all accessories, manuals, and inserts. Write the RMA number clearly on the outside of the shipping carton and include a copy inside the package.
  • Step 4 — Ship the Item: Ship the package to the return address provided with your RMA. We recommend using a trackable, insured shipping method. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error (defective, damaged, or incorrect item).

Inspection: All returned items are inspected upon arrival. We reserve the right to verify defect claims, condition, and completeness of the return. Returns that do not meet the conditions in Section 1 may be refused or subject to additional fees, with the item returned to the customer at the customer’s expense.

5. Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, refunds are processed as follows:

  • Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within seven (7) to ten (10) business days of inspection.
  • Refunds reflect the original item price minus the 10% restocking fee (where applicable).
  • Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable, except in cases of defective, damaged, or incorrectly shipped items.
  • Sales tax is refunded only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
  • Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take additional time for the refund to post to your account after we issue it.

Chargebacks: If a customer initiates a chargeback or payment dispute rather than following the RMA process above, we reserve the right to (a) contest the chargeback with documentation of this policy, (b) deny the return, and (c) assess a separate chargeback handling fee of $25 to cover administrative and bank costs. Customers are not entitled to both a refund and a successful chargeback for the same transaction.

6. Exchanges

If you would like to exchange a product, please contact us before returning the item to verify availability. Exchanges follow the same RMA process described in Section 4. Price differences between the returned item and the exchanged item will be charged or refunded to the original payment method. The restocking fee may be waived for direct exchanges at our discretion.

7. Damaged or Defective Items

If your item arrives damaged or is defective on arrival:

  • Notify us within seven (7) days of receiving the item. Claims made after this window may be processed under our standard return terms rather than the defective-items terms.
  • Provide photographs of the damaged item, its packaging, and the shipping label when contacting us.
  • Do not discard the item or its packaging until your claim has been resolved.
  • After verifying the issue, we will provide a replacement, repair, or full refund (including original shipping) at no additional cost. The restocking fee does not apply to confirmed defective or damaged items.

Definition of “defective”: For purposes of this policy, a defective item is one that does not function as designed due to a manufacturing or material defect. Subjective dissatisfaction with the product’s effect, results, or experience does not constitute a defect. Quantum Sound Therapy makes no guarantee of specific therapeutic, wellness, or health outcomes, and the perceived effectiveness of sound therapy is not a basis for a defective-item claim. We reserve the right to inspect returned items and determine, in good faith, whether a defect exists.

8. Warranties and Product Claims

Our products may carry separate manufacturer or limited warranties. The terms of any applicable warranty are provided with the product or available on our website. This Return Policy does not modify or replace warranty rights. After the 30-day return window, claims relating to product defects should be made under the applicable warranty rather than this policy.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, all warranties, express or implied, are limited to repair, replacement, or refund of the purchase price at our option. We disclaim any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose to the extent permitted by Arkansas law and applicable federal law, including the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act.

9. Right to Refuse Returns

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to refuse any return or limit future purchases in cases involving:

  • Suspected fraud, including “wardrobing” (using a product and returning it as new).
  • Abusive or excessive return patterns.
  • Returns of items missing components, showing damage caused after delivery, or returned in a condition that prevents resale.
  • Violations of this policy or any applicable terms of sale.

10. Order Cancellations

Orders may be canceled at no charge if cancellation is requested before the order has been processed for shipment. Once an order has shipped, it must be handled as a return under this policy. If a shipped order is canceled in transit, the standard 10% restocking fee and any incurred shipping costs will apply.

11. International Orders

International customers are responsible for all return shipping costs, duties, taxes, and customs fees. We do not refund original shipping, duties, or customs charges on international orders. Items must clear customs back into the United States before a refund can be processed. We recommend that international customers contact us before purchasing to confirm return eligibility for their region.

12. Modifications to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify, amend, or update this Return Policy at any time. Changes are effective when posted on our website. The Return Policy in effect at the time of your purchase governs that transaction. We encourage customers to review the current policy before completing any new purchase.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

This Return Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Arkansas, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to this policy or a purchase from Quantum Sound Therapy shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Arkansas, and you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of such courts.

Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable consumer rights that may apply to you under the laws of your state of residence.

14. Severability

If any provision of this Return Policy is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or severed if modification is not possible, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
